Lake Roosevelt starts at Grand Coulee Dam and continues for more than 150 miles ending 25 miles south of the Canadian border. There are numerous coves and inlets which help provide more than 600 miles of sandy beaches. The climate on Lake Roosevelt area is dry and sunny in the summer with temperatures during the day rangeing from 75 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Spring and fall temperatures offer a nice compliment to the dry, hot summers. The lake itself is known for great fishing, camping, hunting and boating. The entire lake has public access beaches that cannot be privately owned, also referred to as the 1310 line. The 1310 is the elevation line, that separates public land from private land, and is equivilant to owning lake frontage.
